Mission Statement
The youth and their families, as well as other residents of Jefferson County, will live in a thriving, nuturing
community in which they are valued and protected, free from the threat of alcohol and other drug abuse.
The Coalition will bring together all the investors of the community - law enforcement, judiciary and government
officials, businesses, social service organizations, faith-based organizations, schools, senior citizens, parents and youth
- to strengthen the factors within self, family, school and community to foster resiliency to all forms of self-destructive
behavior. Pro-social choices will be embraced, instilling hope in our community while also creating the best possible
opportunity for youth to develop into strong, contributing citizens and leaders.
